How to make money from affiliate programs without spending a single dime on advertising Part II of II
You start off by writing an interesting, informative article and then you post it at one web site complete with your full contact details in the resource box. Now the rules for free articles are that anybody can pick up your article and re-post it at their web site. So from a single web site, you may find that your article has been re-posted in dozens of other web sites within a very short time.
So let us assume that you started off with a batch of 10 well written informative articles and on average each one gets re-posted in about a dozen other sites. This means that you will now be having 120 hybrid ads (this is exactly what online articles are) out there where your prospects are bound to come across them.
Assuming that 5 prospects read your article every day, you will be enjoying traffic of 600 visitors per day. Not many web sites see that kind of traffic. And we have not even talked about the ezines and high traffic blogs or web logs that may find your article interesting enough to re-use.
Then there is something else to consider. Once your article is out there, the viral effect will continue for as long as your information is relevant which could be quite a number of years. And the existing articles will continue to get read and pull in traffic for your affiliate program for years.
That is
the power of free articles.
To make your free articles marketing campaign effective, you will first need to carefully identify who your target market is. Once you have done this, you can use your favorite search engine to find relevant web sites. And then out of those web sites you will need to identify which ones allow free article submissions on their web sites.
To be really effective your articles will need to be well written and should address a pressing problem facing your target market of potential prospects.
If you learn how to use articles effectively, you can join as many high-revenue potential affiliate programs as you like without having to spend a dime on advertising.
Still, even if you are determined to invest some money into the affiliate program or programs that you have chosen, why not start with free articles first. Your program to speed up things with paid ads will then be much more effective later when you already have your foundation of free articles already generating traffic, leads and revenue.
