Converting Website Traffic into Profits
If you are to survive online it is imperative that you are
able to convert your website traffic into profits! It's
absolutely useless to drive thousands of visitors to your
site if you aren't converting them into sales.
The best and easiest way to do this is to obtain your
visitors contact details so that you can build a
relationship with them and gain their trust to convert them
into life long customers.
I realised a long time ago that this is where the REAL
money is made!
With this in mind we're going to focus on the NUMBER ONE
step you need to do if you want to make any REAL money
online. This one step can literally be the difference
between the success or failure of your business.
So what is this ONE step you MUST do to succeed online?
You MUST capture the contact details of your visitors!
No ifs, no buts and definitely no maybes. You MUST have a
system in place that enables you to capture the contact
details of your visitors so that you can build an optin
email list.
Why do YOU need to do this?
You have to start thinking like your visitors. You need to
look at the process from their point of view.
Ask yourself... would you purchase something and give your
credit details to someone who you had never even seen or
heard of before, just because they asked you to?
I think not and a majority of your visitors think the
same way. Sure, you are always going to get the impulse
buyer who will make a purchase on their first visit to your
site. But the majority of your visitors won't!
However if you have implemented a system to build an
optin email list, you will be able to make multiple
contacts with your prospects... AFTER they leave your site!
Once you have implemented this system and built a highly
targeted and responsive email list, and you've crafted a
good offers, each prospect on your list can be worth up to
$2 per month.
But if you're just starting out, you may not yet have the
developed the skills to create good ad copy, so naturally
it would be unrealistic to expect to be receiving the
equivalent of $2 per subscirber.
But it isn't unrealistic to expect to recieve $0.50 to
$1 per subscriber.
Now by itself this doesn't sound much. But imagine if you
had 1,000 prospects on your list?. You could be earning up
to $1,000 a month simply by contacting them and
communicating with them at regular intervals.

Now, what if you were able to build your email list to
5,000 highly targeted subscribers? All of a sudden you
could be making up to $5,000 per month simply by
communicating and promoting products to your list.
Not bad for a few hours work is it!
So... how do you collect your visitors contact details and
build your list?
There is no single BEST method that works for everyone.
You will need a bit of trial and error to find what works
best for your niche.
It may take you a little time to produce the best method
suited for your site to collect follow-up information, but
if you think outside the square you can quickly grow your
list.
Those people who are the most successful in any venture
are the ones who are most innovative.
The methods that I have found to be most suited to my
business for building a highly targeted email list are:
- Start an ezine
- Create a capture page
- Contribute to online marketing forums
- Subscribe to list building services
- Writing articles
- Create a viral ebook, report or ecourse
- Use a dynamic popup window
