The trick is to shop for designer shoes online - and I don't mean buying fake designer shoes. There are many online stores that sell genuine Prada, Gucci, Fendi or Versace at discount prices.
Online stores can afford to offer lower prices because they need to pay for the floor space or customer assistants, like the "regular" boutiques do. Also, large online shoe stores sell hundreds of pairs a day to people from all over the world, so they can afford to give you a discount.
