Leisure Trips
For most us, weekdays are loaded with work and chores. Weekend offers the much-needed respite and provides the opportunity to pursue favorite leisure time activities. So, what do most us do to enjoy our leisure time?
Well, as you might have guessed, travel is at an all-time high. Researchers say that more and more people are traveling to both domestic and international destinations. Leisure trips with a spouse or another adult is the most common, but there has also been a steep rise in leisure trip of families with children. Weekend vacations (generally four nights or less) are most popular. Nature lovers set out for a holiday to visit and explore new places. Although National Parks top the list of specific destinations of interest to leisure travelers, beach or lake vacation and cruises are also popular. Some are also interested in purchasing a timeshare or owning vacation time.
Apart from travel, fitness clubs, theme parks, marine and cruise industries, motorcycle and motor sports businesses are also popular attractions. Among recreational activities, swimming and hiking are popupar. Golf, fishing, bowling and billiards are also much loved activities. Fitness, has become a way of life for a majority of us. Jogging tops the list, but aerobic exercises and weight training are also close behind.
Many of us enjoy relaxing and doing nothing at all, after their
