In biopsy, they send a tissue sample for pathological examination. After examining the tissue sample, an expert pathologist can confirm about the existence of disease.
Methods of Treatment:
Mesothelioma information also lets the patient know about the
treatment options available for mesothelioma cancers. Traditional treatment includes surgery. In surgery, the doctors remove the cancerous tumor. However, surgery is effective only in the early stage of disease. Chemotherapy and radiation therapy are some other options. Doctors also try gene therapy. In this treatment, they change the genetic structure of cells to counter the spread of cancerous cells.
