College Pickup Lines: What To Say And How To Say It
College life is overwhelming and challenging. Young adults straight from high school are able to have a taste of their first day alone. They are introduced to staying up late at night, cramming for exams, heavy drinking binges and other like activities which allow them to bond with people the same age as themselves. Activities such as these also train them to exercise their decision-making skills more elaborately. One is given the chance to decide for himself if he is drinking too much or if he is spending his money on the right things.
One of the most important concerns of college life is hooking up with people, and it is important for college men to know what they must say to college girls who actually catch their fancy. They resort to using college pickup lines that enable them to attract the opposite sex through the use of words. College pickup lines, however, have become so trite in this day and age that women who hear them often roll their eyes in exasperation. Consequently, it has become important for college men to carefully choose the college pickup lines that they are to use if they do not want to be counted off as just another charmer loaded with stale college pickup lines to deliver.
“Have I seen you somewhere?” is probably the most commonly used college pickup line in the planet. Close on its heels is the equally trite college pickup line “Do you have a light?” A college pickup line often heard from college men who like to hang out in bars is “Do you come here often?” College pickup lines such as these, in the course of time, have become so overused that they tend to turn women off instead of encouraging them to get to know the speaker better.
What college men should remember about college pickup lines is that they tell a lot about the person who is saying them out loud. College pickup lines like “The first time I saw you, I could sense that there was a strong emotional bond between the two of us” might sound a bit
phony since it is impossible for someone to feel that way for somebody whom he has just seen for the first time. The college pickup line “I've been noticing you around campus and I find you attractive. Would you go out with me tonight?” is something that might seem too hasty for conservative college girls for college men to actually use. “Think you can dance in those shoes?” is a college pickup line safe enough to say, and college pickup lines anywhere near “Excuse me, I don't want you to think I'm ridiculous or anything, but you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. I just felt like I had to tell you” might even generate good response from the women they are directed to.
College pickup lines are more than plentiful, but they need to be used with extra care. Perhaps the most effective college pickup line one might use to attract the attention of a beautiful college girl is that which says what he feels at the moment. Being oneself all throughout is the most important thing, and it is something that will ultimately pay off.
College is an adventure that allows young people to broaden their horizons by allowing them to experience everything that they should before they go out into the real world. Part of the adventure is meeting up with different people, and knowing what to say and how to say it is one of the best lessons college life is able to impart to those who are lucky enough to be able to go through the experience.
