As you know, the customer acquisition is the marketing goal of
acquiring new customers; selling products to people who were not
already customers. Customer acquisition and retention are the
most important things for almost every company. However, just as
everything comes with a certain cost, customer acquisition has
its own price. So, customer acquisition costs are the marketing
and advertising expenses needed to turn a prospective customer
into an actual customer. This can include money spent to attract
a visitor to a web site or to any kind of store to purchase
goods or certain services. This is why the CRM (Customer
Relationship Management) solutions and software play a big role
in achieving great customer acquisition. The CRM is a pretty new
technology that includes several methodologies, strategies and
some software tools that improve the relationship between
customer and company, ensuring greater customer acquisition and
retention.
Anyway, the most logical and easy way to have customer
acquisition is to make commercial TV spots, organize promotions
for your products, and make special offers and other. But, in
the e-marketing area (a bigger and bigger area) things are a
little bit different in the pursuit of customer acquisition.
Companies have some other tools to advertise their

site and will become a potential customer.
Email rental is another method to have customer acquisition. The
company rents customer lists from vertically-targeted business
sites and sends via email details about its products,
newsletters or simply advertise messages.
The Prospect Profile Page can be one of the most important
methods of your customer acquisition e-marketing program. The
page is left simple and it collects especially a prospect name,
email and area of interest.
The "Tell a Friend" is another great way to have customer
acquisition. The program encourages your existing customers to
share information with their colleagues or friends.
