A B C D OF Erectile Dysfunction
Every disorder has a reason associated with it and so is the
case with erectile dysfunction. But before getting into the
roots of erectile dysfunction let me briefly tell you what ED
is- also termed as impotence erectile dysfunction is explained
as the inability to achieve and sustain erection till the time
period necessary for sexual satisfaction. It is one of the most
familiar male sexual problem, about 300 million men around the
world suffer from this disorder to some extent. Below is the
list of some of the most well-known causes of Impotence.
The Age Factor
The first and the most prominent cause of erectile dysfunction
is aging, it is assumed that over 50% of the men suffering from
Ed are aged above 40. This has created a myth that ED is a
disorder associated with age but that's wrong, age has nothing
to do with ED and it is treatable at any age.
Physical and Physiological Factors
The fast life of which we are an undeniable part leads to
traumatic physical and mental stress which can result in
erectile dysfunction. One third of the total cases of ED are due
to these factors, hectic personal professional or sexual life
can lead to ED can also develop this problem.
Performance Concern
Anxiety beyond par for sexual satisfaction or good sexual
performance can also cause ED, be relaxed and have a lenient
approach towards sex, don't think about it too much. If sex is
only seen as the accomplishment of penetrative intercourse, and
a failure if that doesn't happen, then it can be pretty certain
that anxiety-related ED will keep on happening.
Diabetes and Erectile Dysfunction
Diabetes may be defined as the condition in which the level of
blood glucose (sugar) is too high. This problem, if persistent
can damage the function of muscle fibers within
blood vessels
and vascular tissues, including the erectile tissue of the
penis, and of the small nerves and arteries throughout the body.
ED can be a common problem for men diabetics, and the worst part
is that ED prescription pill like Levitra, Cialis or Viagra are not so
effectual in diabetics suffering from Ed as compared to normal
ED cases. A recent study reveals that up to 60 per cent of
diabetic men will eventually develop the problem.
Addiction towards Alcoholism or Smoking
Excessive intake of alcohol or smoking can also lead to erectile
dysfunction. Smoking increases the chance of atherosclerosis
developing and smokers have an increased risk of developing ED.
The Good News
The problem is not as complex as it sounds, it is easily
treatable, modern sciences provides a lot of easy options for
the treatment of erectile dysfunction for instance medication,
counseling, physical devices and surgery.
Conclusion
Don't follow any of the rubbish myths associated with Ed, do not
hesitate in discussing the issue with your health care
professional. Erectile dysfunction is easily treatable so don't
let the opportunity go. Kill ED and enjoy a ravishing sexual
life.
