Melbourne, Australia October 10, 2005 - THE REAL RACE is the most courageous contest ever attempted. It's not a reality TV show but a real race, with real people and real challenges. THE REAL RACE is a new tourism experience that will revolutionize the way people choose to spend their holidays. THE REAL RACE offers adventure in a competitive but friendly environment. Best of all, one team will do it all for FREE!
The concept is quite simple: Twelve teams will travel around Australia, performing tasks and accumulating points at every 'rest point', based on their performance. The victorious team wins back the entire cost of their trip. In this race there are no losers and no eliminations. Every contestant wins, just by taking part in the real race, a different and fun once-in-a-lifetime adventure experience. In participating in THE REAL RACE you can make reality TV your reality.
The first real race will take place in Australia. Australia was chosen because it is the best country in the world for travelling. It's a country with some of the world's greatest snowy mountains, beautiful beaches, barrier reefs, deserts, rainforests, world heritage parks and so much more. THE REAL RACE team has travelled the world, and with their experience in adventure tourism they all
agree that Australia is the greatest location for the first real race.
THE REAL RACE Company will launch the first real race during the upcoming Australian autumn/fall (March - May) 2006.
