A Look at Cold Sore Treatments
Cold sores usually disappear without any type of medication in about a week to ten days. Many people choose to wait out their cold sores, just ignoring them until they go away. Others decide that ten days is too long to have a large, painful,...

Face Transplants: Medicines New Victory
The whiners who cry about face transplant surgery not being
warranted need try walking around the mall for a couple days
shopping for Christmas presents and then get back to me about
moral and ethical issues. There are no moral or ethical issues.
Period.
As you read this the Cleveland Clinic in the United States is
screening candidates in preparation for the world's first full
face transplant. Nothing could be more exciting or moral
ethical!
The surgeons, who need not defend themselves spoke at a news
conference reported in The New York Times. "We are doctors,"
said Jean-Michel Dubernard, one of the doctors who led the
transplant team. "We had a patient with a very severe
disfigurement that would have been extremely difficult, if not
impossible, to repair with classic surgery." "It's important to
recognize that patients who have very severe facial
disfigurement have a suicide rate four times that of the general
population and a very poor quality of life," said Dr. Malcolm Z.
Roth, director of plastic surgery at Maimonides Medical Center
in New York City.
What a medical victory to be praised. They have got to be a
lifesaver for this poor disfigured woman who would have
surely
lived a miserable existence without their help. Your author
knows something about a pretty face I am the World's Number 1
Pick up Artist and the Grand Master of Seduction.
Especially in the case of women's self-image, their social and
economic success and even their survival can still be determined
largely by their beauty and by the men it allows them to
attract, while for men these are based largely on how they act
and what they accomplish. The point is in particular a woman's
face is as important as a heart or a kidney for survival. I
don't think you can rule men out of the equation. either. Men
too want handsome and rugged faces.
You've got to hand it to the French medical team for such an
important and more than ethical medical accomplishment.
