Smoking and Impotence

Everybody is aware that excess of anything will lead to problems. Same is the case with cigarettes. We know that nicotine is present in cigarettes and it is harmful for health. Scientifically it has been proven that smoking and impotence are interlinked. Smokers are not aware of the fact that they are taking risk with their sex lives.
Smokers also have a significantly higher probability of depression compared with non-smokers. Smoking done by a diabetic or person suffering from high blood pressure increases the factor of erectile dysfunction (ED).
Impotence caused by smoking may be due to toxins such as carbon monoxide damaging the circulatory system, and hampering blood flow to and from the penis.
As well as running the risk of impotence, the report said men who smoke also have a lower sperm count and a higher proportion of malformed sperm.
During an erection, large quantities of blood flow, under pressure, into the penile arteries. This causes the veins which drain the penis to become compressed, so preventing the immediate outflow of blood. This process is significantly impaired by smoking.
1.The route from where blood flows to penis is blocked by fatty deposits which are due to consumption of cigarettes. It may eventually lead to male impotence problems.
2.When Nicotine is taken in excess by an individual, it results in rapid contractions in penile tissue. It also affects stimulation in the brain. A direct and immediate result of nicotine stimulation in the brain restricts arterial blood flow into the penis. This is known as acute vasospasm.
Sexual functioning requires the

coordination of several functions in the body. This includes the nervous system (mental stimulation) working in coordination with hormones, and the vascular system which pumps blood into the muscle tissue that maintains the erection. Smoking can affect all these systems, thereby, causing impotence. To know about impotence visit http://www.cialismagic.com
Smoking blocks the flow of blood throughout the body. Heart attack and strokes are the main problems which arise due to blockage of arteries. Impotence is also caused due to the blockage of Arteries.
The damage caused by smoking to male sexual health also includes:
•Reduced volume of ejaculate
•Lowered sperm count
•Abnormal sperm shape
•Impaired sperm motility
Smoking is a major and avoidable hazard for sexual health. Erectile dysfunction is caused by the consumption of nicotine and if it is discontinued then results may become positive. There are so many cases of people taking nicotine and after knowing that it is the reason of their being impotent, they quit smoking. It is possible to fully or partially recover erectile function by just quitting smoking. To get more information on smoking and impotence visit http://www.cialis.com; http://www.cialismagic.com

Instead of going for a medicine or drug firstly a person should quit the reasons which are affecting their health. There are few countries which are planning to put warning on cigarette packs that suggests "Smoking May Lead You to ED".
