7 Ways to Drive Traffic to your Website
If you sell products or services, chances are you have a website
promoting these products and services. All website owners are
looking for fresh ideas on how to get qualified visitors to
their website and convert these visitors into buyers.
1. Pay per Click Campaigns
If you use Google, you have seen a pay per click campaign. You
usually notice ads running down the right side of the page.
These are pay per click campaigns. If you click on any of those
ads, the person who placed the ad there would have to pay a
certain price. You can set up a pay per click (PPC) campaign for
your products as well. Usually if someone clicks on your ad,
you'd have to pay 5 to 10 cents per click. This is a very cost
effective advertising solution if done right.
2. Write an eBook
Ebooks are a great form of marketing your products and services.
Find out what your customers would like to know and write an
eBook regarding that subject. All throughout the eBook, mention
your products and services and include all your links.
3. Email Signatures
Every time you send an email, it should always have ads for your
products and services underneath your signature. Include links
to text that drives me to your site.
4. Affiliate Signup Page
If you do not offer an affiliate signup page, you are losing out
on thousands of people advertising your product for free. Create
a page that offers affiliates half of everything they sell. Make
it easy for them to sign up, and I guarantee people will start
advertising your products and
services. It is also a good idea
to offer your affiliates banners, text links, and other
marketing tools to get them started.
5. Power of Testimonials
A testimonial is positive feedback about your products and
services. Every time someone writes something good about your
products or services, place it on your webpage. Make sure you
include that person's credentials, and when visitors visit your
website they are more likely to buy when they see or hear other
people having success with your product.
6. Create a Blog
Blogs are the newest form of advertising. Blogs (short for
weblog) are online journals. You can write about any subject and
allow users to respond. You can direct your readers to your
webpage for more information about your products and services.
7. Keyword Selection
When someone is searching for a specific product or service,
they use the search engines and type in specific keywords. If
you have that keyword in the metatag of your webpage, then your
page will come up if it's been indexed by the Search Engines.
Selecting the right keywords for your products and services will
allow you to capitalize on this free form of advertising. This
will lead to a higher conversion rate and more money in your
pocket.
