MLM and the Internet, What A Perfect Match!

“You’re Invited to a Meeting.” Now What?
Managers spend much of their time in meetings. But some junior staff use meetings to showcase themselves. Or they invite their boss to help with work that they should be doing. In either case, such meetings waste your time.

Tap Into Your Executive Information System
Time is too valuable to waste. Indeed, to top level executives
time is money, and they cannot afford to waste their time. This
presents an interesting dilemma to these chief executives, since
they are supposed to understand the condition and status of the
business at all times. But how is this possible when there is so
much information to tackle and so little to time? The answer is
quite simple actually; chief executives need to take advantage
of an executive information system.
An executive information system allows the executive the ability
to peruse the most important and pertinent information the
company has available. Rather than focusing on the breadth and
depth of the information, an executive information system is centered around value.
Information that does not provide intrinsic value is of no use
to the time crunched executive. Thankfully there are products
such as dashboards that serve as powerful and valuable executive
information systems.
A dashboard is a well developed interface for charting
software . Dashboards serve as a sort of database that
offers a visual representation of the vital data of the company.
In this sense a dashboard acts as advanced charting software
because it is able to accept a range of inputs which are
transferred to visual objects, better known as charts, graphs,
and maps.
So how does this type of executive information system provide
value to an executive? One of the key responsibilities of an
executive is identifying key trends related to the company and
the market. The easiest way to realize trends exist is
by
observing graphical representations of the data. Thus an
executive is able to take a quick look at his dashboard and
easily identify the trends in market conditions. Having spent
relatively little time identifying the trends in the data, the
executive then has more time to either address or exploit the
trends he has discovered.
It is easy for an executive to see the value in charting
software such as an executive dashboard as
it saves the executive a lot of time and assists him in
performing his job with more efficiency. To be competitive on
the executive level, you must have a quality executive
information system in place. If you lack such a tool, you will
likely fall behind other leading executives and quickly fall out
of favor with the boss.
Dashboards provide so much value to the decision making process
at the executive level that you can literally not afford to work
without one. If you want to keep pace with your colleagues then
you need to do your homework on executive information systems
and find the one that fits your needs the best. I would
recommend looking for a dashboard solution that offers embedded
charting software and dashboard excel compatibility. This will
allow you the flexibility of inputting all your vital
information from your excel spreadsheets, which are then
transferred into highly interpretable charts, graphs, and maps.
