Email Marketing Systems to Help Boost Exposure and Profits... System #3 - Simple Steps to Developing An Automated Income Stream
I know, I know you read the title of this month's eMail Marketing System and are saying to yourself "is there anything SIMPLE about marketing???"
Well, so far you have been given two systems that are SIMPLE to put to use within your own business. They might take just a little bit of time in gathering the tools you need, but once you have them, you are good to GO!!
In your marketing efforts you want to use as many cost effective tactics at once. Tactics that once they are set up bascially run on their own.
So, let's keep that momentum going and keep to this idea of SIMPLE eMail Marketing Systems that anyone, regardless of level of experience can do ;o)
Today's system is an eCourse. Now before you click off here, just hang for a little bit and I will show you just how EASY it is to put together...AND how an eCourse can work at generating additional income streams for you.
First the why...
An ecourse can be setup to operate by itself without any additional work or effort on your part. You just plug it into an autoresponder, set up a little link within your email signature block, add a link on your site, perhaps run an ad to draw people in to take it...and BINGO you are on your way to building a list.
I know that you know the benefits of an ecourse and I don't want to really focus too much in that area...list building is the key to ALL your marketing efforts and an ecourse is a fantastic tool for that!
How To Develop a Course of Your Own...
Ah..that is the question!!
You have two ways in which you can go about developing a course of your own, you can:
1. pick a theme and develop content via your knowledge in the particular theme you have choosen. Let me give you a quick example:
If you run a dating site then you may want to develop an ecourse geared towards members of the site. The theme could be "How to Attract Mr. or Miss. Right!" Your course discuss the ways in which a person writes their profile, what sorts of pictures to use, how to respond to an interested person. Anything that will help your member stand out on the site so that they get what they are looking for...a date (or mate as the case may be).
2. pick a theme and use content that other people have developed that is in keeping with that theme. THE MOST EASIEST way to go for people who feel they are NOT writers. The internet is full of good, solid content in the form of articles, reviews, interviews. All you need to do is find the content and set it up into a logical 5 or 7 day format and BINGO, you have your own course and you virtually didn't write a word...how cool is that!!!
It is very easy to put together an eCourse of your own. It takes a bit of time but once you get one eCourse under your belt you'll be surprised at just how quickly you can pull them together after.
Now, I want to "show you the money," or actually how you can weave in your very own income streams...
Within the template you use include a "Sponsor Ad" at the top. Something like this...
--------Today's Sponsor --------
On the corner of walk and don't walk with your marketing? Need a BOOST? Then subscribe to xyz eZine for the BOOST you need! http://www.yourlinkhere.com --------------------------------------
If you have a 5 or 7 day eCourse well you have 5 or 7 ad spots. I will say this however, don't just plug in any ad. Make sure that your sponsor ad ties into the overall theme of your course. If your course is on health products and you out the blue put an ad in about travel...well you lose the momentum and flow of the course itself, your subscribers are looking at that and wondering what the heck? Not to mention you look scattered. Keep it on topic ;o)
Next...
You can add a PS at the end of each day's lesson which could be a link to an additional resouce you have, an affiliate site or some other product. AGAIN, as with your Sponsor Ad make sure that if you are using a PS it ties in with the overall theme of your eCourse.
Go for the
GUSTO...
You develop enough content for your course so that it covers five days. But, we are using a 7 day format which means that we still have two "lessons" to round out the format. These last two messages are going to be designed with two things in mind...
1. to earn you income from products/services you have 2. to get the subscriber into one of your other automated systems.
Do you like???
Thought that would interest you ;o)
So, day six is where you're gonna make an offer "they" can't refuse. The whole purpose of the sixth day is to turn your subscriber into a customer.
That offer can be pretty much anything. Ummm let me give you a quickie example...
If you belong to an affiliate program you may want to make a special offer whereby you will refund a person's first month's membership fees when they join through you.
The seventh day is the FINAL message of the series. The intent then is to get your subscriber into another system. One where you can continue working with them and build the trust and rapport you have created.
The more exposure you get with them, the more likely they are to trust you (BASED of course on your solid info). The more they trust you, the more likely they are to take you up on your recommendations and of course buy.
So, get them into another automated system that you have.
It could be a newsletter, another ecourse, a trial offer, some sort of software demo, a report, or an ebook that you have.
Again, the intent here is to get them to stick with you so that you have the chance to build the trust and rapport AND exposing them to your offers.
Now...how do you feel about adding an eCourse to your foundation??
Not too bad at all huh??
Excellent...!!
Well...I have a little somethin, somethin for you today. I have written an eCourse. One that you can customize with your own links, load it to an autoresponder, AND I have even provided you with a mini-site where you can send people so they can sign up to receive your course.
You can check out the details here: http://www.profitspace.com/success/cust.html
If you just want to subscribe to the course itself then youcan do so here: http://www.profitspace.com/success/index.html
If you want to write an ecourse of your own and want a fantastic resource then I highly recommend Autopilot Income Streams. It will take you step-by-step through the process of developing a course, ideas on how to generate your offers, plus a template that you can take and make your own. Go here and check it out: http://www.profitspace.com/ais/index.html
We have covered three systems now and you will soon see that each system is building on the next. Umm, let me explain what I mean...
We have covered three systems now and you will soon see that each system is building on the next. Umm, let me explain what I mean...
The first system was using a 2-step process for your classified ads. Instead of sending people to your site and risk not getting an email address. Instead send them to a report or course that they can receive via autoresponder where they need to provide their name and email.
The second system was the eMarketing Kit which consisted of a newsletter, ecourse, report and mystery gift. Again for the price of an email address your prospect could receive it.
Now we have an eCourse, which could serve as a stand alone system of its own, or you can include it in your marketing package above.
See how these systems can all feed off of and work together to build lists??
Plug them into your eBuisness and get them rolling for you...get on the proactive side of marketing ;o)
